Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of leadership style, work motivation, and work discipline on the performance of employees of the Bandung Region IV Manpower Supervision Technical Implementation Unit (UPTD). Data were collected through a quantitative approach using a survey method using a questionnaire from employees of the Bandung Region IV Manpower Supervision Technical Implementation Unit (UPTD) as respondents. Analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics, correlation, and multiple regression to determine the strength and direction of the relationship between variables. The results showed that the three independent variables, namely leadership style, had no positive effect, while work motivation and work discipline had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Specifically, transformational and supportive leadership styles have not been proven to encourage better performance, while intrinsic motivation and high discipline strengthen commitment and work achievement. These findings underscore the importance of inspirational leadership, support for employee development, and discipline enforcement in improving performance in the government sector.
